So this is the third time I’m posting forgive me but every time the app shuts down and I never get all the photos up. Anyways 25 and 27 cm(?) on breast-one a lil bigger- though I honestly don’t mind too much them and honestly I don’t think they look as saggy as other people. I know I need lift down the line but if I get preg. within 2-5 years will have to anyways… please advise thank you . I know one doctor in NY says many women are getting lifts but don’t need. Will try post wish pic.
Answer: Lift or no lift Whether patients need a lift or not generates a lot of angst amongst patients and surgeons alike. In my opinion your best operation would be to do a lift with an implant now and if after having children, they need to be re-lifted or have some revision of the lift so be it and I think that is a reasonable path to take. Placement of implants without doing a lift in your situation could be performed but would produce very heavy sagging breasts I think would not only look unsatisfactory, but also be somewhat of a physical burden to you particularly with breast-feeding. Typically, the scars after a breast lift heal well, and the shape of the breast is much better and the breasts are positioned on the chest, which makes it functionally better for the patient as well. Another advantage of having a lift at your stage is a lot of that sub glandular breast tissue that is causing the problem with the drooping can be removed at the time of a lift, which will decrease the amount of breast tissue that potentially has ability to re-droop again. I would go ahead and have a lift with implants and get a better shape to your breast, get your breast off your abdomen and located back on your chest, which will not only provide you with more cosmetic benefits, but also with some functional benefits and allow your bras to fit better and would also establish a better cleavage along with fullness to the upper pole of your breast. I have included a video link talking about breast lifts.

Answer: Lift recommended Your nipples are located below your breast fold so a lift is recommended. However, if you don’t one want now then it’s important to understand that your implants will be centred behind your nipples, which means they’ll sit rather low on your chest.

Answer: BA or lift Dear WaterMoon86, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs. Answer: Do I need a breast lift? You might not need one. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: LIFT! Hello, thank you for your question and the pics. The definition of ptosis, is when your nipples past the line for the inframammary fold, so stick a pencil under your breasts, and see if your nipples are past that point, you be the judge. If you put implants without a lift, the weight will make the sag more, regardless if you do have children or not, and the implants will have to be placed on top of the muscle because they are way past the inferior border of the pectoral muscle.
