The position of the hairline, the placement of 2- and 3-hair follicular units on the edge of the hairline, and the lack of density. Without a more detailed exam and without knowing how many grafts were placed it is hard to say if there was poor growth or not. Either way, there are things that can be done to correct the results. You could be a candidate for FUT or FUE which would allow grafts to be obtained quite easily that could then be transplanted in the hairline to "soften" the current hairline and to provide more density. Additionally, upon examination in-person, a decision with your hair restoration surgeon could be made to remove some of the existing hairs in the hairline as well should it be necessary.
