I am from the UK and as a black woman there isn’t anyone here who could help with hair loss. I had originally consulted about the transplant process some years ago and finally got the necessary medical checks completed to move forward. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment when I was planning to be in Miami and the rest is history. I would recommend the process and Dr Rose to anyone. It does take time to see the results but my 8 months of hair growth after an initial 4 month dormant process is pleasing. Onwards and upwards. Thank you Dr Rose for restoring my confidence and hopefully in the next few months I’ll see even more progress!
Dr Rose and her team were extraordinary! So grateful for how she helped me, and supported me along through the entire process. 5 stars! Also her office is beautiful - her equipment is first class - and she goes above and beyond to make sure the patient is comfortable in each step.
I just had my hair transplant procedure with DR. ROSE and her team (Jessica, Cari, and Racquel) yesterday (August 29,2024) and they were all phenomenal!! Dr. Rose took her time to ensure I liked my new hairline and she gaves me options instead of saying "this is what it will be and that's it." I appreciate her providing me with options as well as her warmness and honesty! Dr. Rose did not sugarcoat anything with me. She made it very clear on what she can do, what she could probably do and what she could not do. Jessica, Cari, and Racquel were all so patient with me, especially during the numbing process. They did not make me feel as if I was a bother to them. All 4 staff members answered whatever questions I had and were all gentle and explained to me step by step what they were going to do before doing it which helped to put me at ease, made me comfortable, and they gained my trust. The procedure took about 5 hours and I will forever have Dr. Rose in my heart! I can't want to see my final results!!
I had a great experience with Natural Hair Transplant. Everything went as planned the day I had my transplant and the instructions well written for me to follow afterwards. Dr. Rosenzweig and her team helped from start to finish, and this was much needed for the transplant to be a success. If I had to do it all again, I will do it with Natural Hair Transplant and recommend others to them as well.
For the last 6 years I have been experiencing hair loss. I even embarked on a hair journey trying different hair oils, PRP, and more. Nothing was working. I came across Natural Transplants after going to other companies. I was assigned to Dr. Rose. In my 7 years within the healthcare industry, Dr. Rose is clearly the best doctor. Dr. Rose and her team are very respectful, likeable, and trustworthy. They are the true definition of focusing on the customer experience. I didn’t feel out of place from the time I arrived and left Dr. Rose office in Fort Lauderdale (2022). Dr. Rose really focuses on the details to make sure you get what you want and need. The magical procedure and work Dr. Rose and team provided unraveled my true ambition and self-assurance. I personally noticed results within the first 4 months post procedure and by the 12th month I can say that the results were beyond my expectations. Today in September 2023, I stride with newfound confidence, and I highly recommend anyone (especially black and brown people) to go to Dr. Rose right now if you are experiencing hair issues. The sooner you go to Dr. Rose the better. Trust me!
Great experience with Dr. Rose and her amazing team. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable throughout the entire experience. This was my second procedure to maximize the density and overall look of my hair and let me tell you Dr. Rose is an artist. My recommendation for anyone that currently is my previous situation “DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT… JUST DO IT” totally worth it. Thank you Dr.Rose and the entire team in natural hair transplants for this life changing experience.
If I could give her 10 stars I would. Personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rose and her great staff. They made the process go smoothly and everything was explained before and during the process which made me feel much more comfortable. She clearly explained her expectations and what I could expect after the process. I also received a follow up phone call after the procedure by Dr. Rose and answered any questions or concerns I might have.
Dr. R was great. My hair looks like I’m in my 20s again. I’m very happy with the results. I went to her last year after a couple years of receding. I feel like a totally different person and I’m very happy.
Dr. Rose did an amazing job with my hair transplant. She used her artistic skills to craft a hairline that fit my face and age. My results were ASTRONOMICAL! No one knows I had a hair transplant and those that know always ask where I had it done and by whom. Dr. ROSE IS THE BEST!!
One year ago this week I received a hair transplant with Dr. Rose. I was a Norwood 3, but it was headed back quickly with deep recession in the temples and the classic "I'm aging like a mofo" horseshoe hairline. Some people say "Just shave it!" or "Bald is beautiful!" and while that's all well and good if you're The Rock, or Vin Diesel, there's many guys who do NOT look good with a shaved head. It just doesn't fit our faces and our vibes. I'm one of those men. I wanted my hair back and I got it. The Surgery: The surgery itself wasn't a big deal. I've had wisdom teeth removed and that was a more painful experience. I had initially scheduled for 2020, but cancelled as I'm not a fan of pain. I regret that. If I had known how simple, fast and relatively painLESS the procedure is, I would have it done YEARS earlier. The nurses were very sweet, they played music of my choice and gave me the remote to watch films, however, I just closed my eyes and chilled out. The meds helped. ; ) If you can handle sitting in a dental chair for a few hours, then you can get this done. The Recovery: Get your butt home, rest and follow the instructions they give you. I followed them to a T and didn't have any issues. They gave me painkillers, however, I only took half of one pill in the beginning. After that I took ibuprofen as needed and threw the painkillers away. After 2 weeks I went back to Dr. Rose and had the stitches removed. Painless and quick. I can only attest for my personal experience, however, the actual process of waiting for the result (new hair) to come is the most 'painful' part. It takes patience. I'm not a patient person, however, the year zipped by and by month 7 after the surgery I could cut and style my hair as normal. Month 9 was when it really filled in and Month 11 it was essentially done. The last month you can get a slight thickening push and I did receive a small boost it appears. You can get your hair cut much sooner, but I decided to just 'caveman' it with the growth so when I got it cut in Month 7 I could see how it all looked after I had the new hairline. The Result: I have the hairline of my youth back. I've gained back multiple years in terms of looks. We all know receding hairline and weight gain ages men severely. The scar is so thin my hairdresser couldn't find it until I told her. I paused working out for 2 months after surgery though to ensure it had time to heal properly and I recommend doing the same so the scar doesn't stretch and is as thin as possible. If you're someone sitting here reading these reviews thinking about your hairline of the past, then I have to tell you that getting it done will restore your confidence, boost your self-esteem and bring back that youthful hairline you used to get compliments on. If you feel annoyed every time you look at your hair in the mirror and you're resistant to taking photos as you don't like how you look anymore, simply get the surgery done. I'm not paid to say all this. Just had a great result and want to spread the word as great work should be praised. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. The hairline can be transplanted to even out any inherent unevenness along the temporal edges. The beauty of the transplant is that the new hairs can be designed to blend in with your existing hairline and achieve a natural look. Once the hairs have been transplanted and matured (typically at 12 months), the hairs can be styled and cropped. The hairs can be cut or cropped earlier, but they may appear less dense until the 12 month mark.
Thank you for your question. Each patient varies, however there is definitely still growth from 8-10 months post-op. Typically, a good gauge of the density can be appreciated at about the 9month mark. The final result isn't truly appreciated until 12 months. Certain areas such as the crown, tend to take a little longer and can be up to 18 months. The best way to appreciate the progress is to take photos in the same location every month.
Thank you for your question regarding Minoxidil. It is not advised to keep Minoxidil on all week. Generally, it is best to wash your hair regularly, at least every other day on Minoxidil (Don't wash for at least 4 hours after application).
Thank you for sharing your photos. The result looks on track for 10 months and the final result won't be appreciated until the full 12 months. Before making any decisions, it's advised to wait for the final density. There still will be more maturing and density in the next few months. Given the fact that you have dark hair on lighter skin background, micropigmentation may be a great adjunct to the transplant.
Thank you for the photos. You definitely have good quality hair and may be experiencing the very beginnings of Male Pattern Baldness. The term describes a "pattern" and typically males will have receding of the hairline and/or the lateral recessions (corners) that you are depicting in the pictures. It appears to be very early in the process. In your case, it may be advised to wait until there is more area to transplant before undergoing a procedure. For small cases, DHI (FUE) may be advantageous. There are many factors to consider when deciding the right time to transplant and it is specific to the patient. There are also preventive medicines, topicals, and/or a laser helmet that you may want to consider if you decide to wait given your strong family history.
