I had my fue 6 months ago. But my donor area is still looks so bad and I am really concerned. I was told it would be just a month and then no one can see from the back. Now 6 months have past, I have a bald patch on the back. I have to wear a hat to cover it all the time. My life is worse than pre procedure. What should I do?
Answer: Bald patch after FUE The are with thinning in this photo appears to be the vertex scalp which is more superior to the typical "donor" area used for FUE procedures. However it may be the angle of the photo. I would definitely go back to your performing hair restoration surgeon if you are comfortable with them or another hair restoration surgeon to discuss as they will be able to perform an in person exam and look for small scars from the FUE procedure to determine where the grafts were taken from. If the area of thinning is the vertex scalp and is not related to the FUE procedure, then you may want to discuss the option of maintenance therapies including medications, red light based devices, and injections such as PRP. If it is related to the FUE procedure, then sometimes other therapies such as scalp micropigmentation can be useful in addition to potential surgical revision. I would be seen by a hair restoration surgeon to assess your situation and discuss your options.

Answer: I have a bald patch at the back. What should I do? (Photo) In the photo you shared with us, the bald spot appears to be in the vertex region, which is far above the donor area. At the vertex, the direction of the hair changes, allowing light to penetrate and expose the skin. This is unlikely to be related to your procedure. Speak with your doctor. He will be able to address your concerns,
