my patients get venus legacy treatments right away and wear head garments for faster recovery. Best, Dr. Emer.
I think the head wrap can help reduce the initial swelling from the ThermiTight procedure. Most of my patients will say that they continue to wear it at night for the first week because the compression feels better.
Dear ttooley:Following surgery, ThermiRF or any injury to the face, neck and other parts of the body a normal healing cascade occurs which initially includes swelling. The more inflammation, the more swelling.Swelling too sets up a vicious cycle of more swelling for days to weeks. Compression, elevation, massage, cooling following by warmth are all helpful in reducing the cycle of inflammation and swelling. While each patient is unique and may need more or less care following the procedure, the value of these principles is useful to everyone.I hope this helps! All the best!
Thank you for your question. Swelling and numbness are normal post procedureand will slowly dissipate over time. You can continue wearing your head wrap asour patients have seen a difference but it does vary for each person.
Thank you for your question. Yes! Continue wearing the head wrap. Wearing it on and off for at least 7 days following your procedure will really help minimize and decrease your swelling. Endermologie treatments would also help with the swelling, as it drains out extra fluid through your lymphatic system. If your doctor doesn't have an endermologie machine, he may know someone who does. I find it to be very helpful. Good luck!
Your physician hit a blood vessel and you got a lot of bruising that will take a few weeks to resolve. LED light therapy, pulsed dye laser/yellow laser and hyaluronidase injections will speed up the healing and/or hyperbaric oxygen. Please see an expert for future treatments. Best, Dr. Emer.

ThermiSmooth is a radiofrequency devices that heats the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production and skin tightening. It does require 3 treatments each spaced 3 weeks apart. It does not require any premedication or numbing and produces a warming/heat sensation during the...
Although ThermiTight is used to treat skin laxity, it can certainly produce some fat reduction. It works best where there is a small amount of fat. If it is anymore than that, liposuction combined with Thermi will probably give you a better result. This is best determined in the consultation...
Cellulaze has become used less and less in my practice for cellulite i like Vaser smooth with fat transfer or Sculptra injections and then to finish the improvement ThermiRF. I suggest a formal consultaiton to see what is best for you. Dr. Emer.
