Recovery is ultimately dependent on the individual and the amount of work done. Bodytite alone will differ from Bodytite in conjunction with liposuction. Different surgeons will also have different post operative regimens. In my experience, most patients resume normal activities within 3-5 days. Exercise is usually resumed at 3 weeks post operatively. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).
Typically, you can return to sedentary activities within two to three days; full activity with exercise, within two to three weeks.Kenneth B. Hughes, MDBoard Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for your question. The recovery time is based on the number of areas being treated. Typically, I recommend patients to resume their normal activities after 3-4 days. Please consult your provider and always seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
This will depend on whether or not liposuction was part of the treatment. If it was then there will be compression for approximately 6 weeks. During that time depending on the area treated there can be increase swelling with exercise. Walking is a good start and walking up hills or on a treadmill with an incline is helpful exercise during this time.
I appreciate your question. "Normal activity" can mean different things but I generally have seen patients return to work in 3-5 days. Factors such as the areas treated and motivation play a role in this. But from a surgical standpoint I think 3-5 days is what I expect and then I still have people refrain from resuming exercise for 2 weeks.
Like many other surgeries, the answer depends on the size and number of areas treated. Patients of a medium frame with a single areas such as the abdomen usually are able to resume a normal, sedentary (office-desk job) in 3-5 days. Light exercise is good at 7-10 days increasing in intensity over the next 2-3 weeks. Obviously, the larger the person, and/or the more areas treated would extend that time frame.
Hi There Thank you for your question. This varies and depends on the procedure and your job.Bodytite is a very unusual procedure in the bruising is remarkably little considering how much fat can be removed.I would say that treatments such as flanks don't need much time off and people go back pretty soon eg after a day or 2.With bigger procedures I think rest is a valuable aid to recovery and I suggest a week off work if we are removing a good amount of fat. With a smaller reduction or surface area treated then this reduces.Kind Regards Dr Dinesh Maini Zenith Cosmetic Clinics
Thank you for your question. This is going to be somewhat dependent on the area being treated and whether BodyTite is being combined with another form of lipo for more size reduction. A simple BodyTite procedure can return to work in 1-2 days with return to the gym in two weeks after clearance by a physician. We have had a few patients return to work the day following their procedure without any difficulty. This is a point that should be discussed during your initial consultation to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for this procedure. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Bodytite is done typically under local anesthesia and thus 48 hour recovery is the norm. One can start going to the gym in 10 days.
Thank you for your question! Most areas of the body can be treated with BodyTite, but the most common areas are the stomach, arms, chest, knees, and thighs. If you are looking for similar results in the face and neck area, FaceTite is another option.Hope this helps. Best of luck
Thigh lift would likely produce a better result, but this will depend upon your goals and your tolerance for scars.
Hello and thank you for your question. Bruising after surgery can be a common finding...and yes...there are times where the bruising shows up a day or 2 after surgery, or the bruising you see can worsen before it gets better. I tell my patients to drink pineapple juice because there is supposed...
This is a very common question with my patients. The best results are seen in patients who not only invest in the procedure but also in an overall healthy lifestyle to further the effects that you will see from BodyTite. Not all body fat is created equally (unfortunately some is much more ...
You need at least 3 months to judge improvement and up to 6 months or more.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
I tell my patients to avoid strenuous exercise for 3-6 weeks after liposuction. Walking is okay 24 hours after the procedure. Best, Dr. Emer.
