I am interested in getting a mommy makeover but my blood work shows that my platelet count is on the lower side: 110,000. I am considering a mommy makeover procedure. My blood work revealed my platelet count is 110,000 (first discovered at pregnancy 9 years ago and this count has been relatively consistent for me since). I have had consults with 3 different plastic surgeons 2 of which WOULD perform the mommy makeover and 1 Dr.who refused based on my platelet count. I want to be assured a safe surgery and recovery so would appreciate perspectives on this issue so I can make an informed decision. Thank you so much.
