The majority of my practice is liposuction, buttock augmentation/fat transfer, fillers, and lasers in men. Skin care is very popular as well. I do a lot of high definition ab and chest sculpting procedures as well as bi, tri, deltoid, and buttock enhancement with fat transfer. I suggest you seek an expert if you are looking for treatment, someone whos practice is dedicated to this and does these procedures frequently. Best, Dr. Emer.
Most men in my practice request abdomen, sides, back, and chest liposuction.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
In my practice it is around 25% with liposuction compared to women. Other popular procedures are mid-facelifts and upper eyelids.Take care.
In my practice, about 8-10% are men. The 3 top requested procedures are removal of gynecomastia or "men boobs", liposuction of the abdomen and love handles. I use the VASER technique for Hi Definition lipo sculpting to define the pectorails muscles, abdominal muscles and create a "V" shape for the back. In the last year, I've seen an increase requesting these procedures.
Hi, thanks for your inquiry. Nowadays, Men can be benefited from plastic surgery just as the same as women do. In my practice it is very common to have male patients trying to look better with surgical and non-surgical procedures. The most common procedure is liposuction to abdomen in flanks and fat grafting to the buttocks. Congratulations in making research in this topic, it is very important to seek for reviews and results from different plastic surgeons. Good luck in your PS Journey!Respectfully,Dr. Jaime Campos-Leon
In my practice five to ten percent of patients to undergo surgery for liposuction are men. Today men are concerned more for their physical appearance and that is good.
In my practice men usually get liposuction, eyes/facelift surgery and rhinoplasty. Those are the top 3 for me.
My personal experience with male vs female is 10:1 female.Men typically have love handles, and abdomen suctioned.Stephen M. Davis, MD, FACSGreen Hills Plastic Surgery
According to the 2013 statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, men comprise approximately 10% of the total number of liposuction procedures performed.
As previously stated, my practice also sees approximately 10% male and 90% female patients.Often, men have a better idea of what specifically bothers them, and they are often good or better candidates. The one exception is men who carry more intra-abdominal fat. We can only liposuction the fat between someone's skin and muscle layers. For men who have a full (beer belly) look, abdominal liposuction can be less satisfying. Liposuction of the male chest, especially gynecomastia, and flanks can give an impressive result.Hope that helps. Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.

Possible due to positioning on the table for the procedure, the sciatic nerve or lower back could be traumatized. Best to report this to your surgeon.
I usually review the healing process at length with my patients before surgery so they can anticipate the different stages of healing after liposuction.I describe the stages of healing after liposuction as:Initial results at 24 hours. One day after liposuction, the swelling has just begun. The...
