Can I change the shape of my forehead with a forehead reduction? (Photos)

Question

My hairline is uneven, one side goes up higher than the other, I want one side lower to match the other side. I also want the upper sides of my forehead to be less wide. My forehead is shaped round and I want it to be more square basically. I am not sure if its possible to attain this through a forehead reduction. I can get a hair transplant but I am not interested in that procedure because of the time it takes for the hair to grow back.

To answer your question, yes we can reshape the hairline with a hairline lowering procedure and I often even out the sides when one is higher than the other.  The 2 photos you posted look like 2 different people so I'm not sure what's going on there.

Thank you for the question and your photos. Hairline lowering surgery may be a good option for you, but the decision would depend on measurements of your forehead and test of scalp mobility. An ideal female forehead height, for a woman of average stature, would be about 6.5-7cm. If yours is within 2cm of this measurement, the scalp could be advanced to give you an improvement in symmetry and shape. Another option would be FUE hair transplantation. The grafts could be selectively placed to even out the hairline height difference. Best of luck moving forward!

You are a great candidate for forehead reduction/hairline lowering, via a trichophytic (hair follicule preserving) technique. This is the same technique I use for brow lifting, but instead of raising the brow, we go the other way, and lower the hairline.  Its unlikely to get the forehead less wide with forehead reduction however.

Hi, I can make surgery but hair transplantation results make you more happy. After surgery you would see scars and dont look natuarl but with hair transplantation it would look more natural. Hair transplantation needs time to see the result but it would look great
