Love my surgeon, love the results so far one month later. Found the Mia Aesthetics process a bit like a factory assembly line, very impersonal and uncaring. The cost savings however was 100% worth it to me.
My experience with Dr. Scroggins and his Snatch team was amazing. Even from the beginning, the quoting time. Dr. Scroggins was very professional and educational. He explained every detail of the requested procedures. Not to mention the price was great and I’d done a couple consultations. When the time came for my procedure the entire staff were welcoming and had great bedside manners. I had given them an inspiration picture and they even had it posted in the procedure room lol. When I woke up from my procedure I was all bandaged up in the recovery room. They told me it went great and that my husband had already receive an update and was on the way. After my procedure Dr. Scroggins and his team contacted me to ensure I was ok and discussed what to look out for. They saw me back within a couple of days to check me out. After 10 days Dr. Scroggins office offered a massage therapist that would perform sessions to move fluid and help with reducing swelling. This was a great addition. Her name was Noelle and she was great. I still follow up with Dr. Scroggins to this day. It was more frequent right after and less frequent now, but shoes he is invested in his patients. If you’re thinking of getting a procedure, do your research, read the reviews and book with this team:) you will not regret it.
I love this Doctor. The staff was so welcoming and relieving all my anxiety about my procedure. Dr. Scroggins preformed Lipo and the new Thermi Tight to my double chin. I’m two days out of my procedure and I’m loving my new look already. This procedure was done in his office with very minimal pain. If you ask if I would do i it all over again, I would only with Dr. Scoggins preforming the procedure.
My surgical coordinator, Dr. Scroggins and the CRNA were absolutely amazing and had exceptional bedside manner. Although my 360 was done perfectly I am disappointed with the BBL it looks almost the same except for the hips one of the hips does appear larger than the other. I also did not receive all my supplies ( bbl pillow, foams, boards and urinal) Updated on 9 May 2024: I had my surgery with Dr. Scroggins on 2/7/24 I had 360 lipo/BBL. When I went in for my surgery the anesthesiologist was extremely warm and friendly so was the front desk,my coordinator Katia was amazing. But here is were the problems started I was told by Dr. Scroggins and his team that after the initial swelling in three months I should see my results however I look EXACTLY the same pre surgery my weight stayed at 224 my waist is STILL 36 inches and my hips went from 45 to 47 inches which hardly looks like anything. The only thing that happened was that I lost 4,600$. I am hoping to at least get a revision but Will have to pay an additional 3500$ for anesthesia.
Choose a different place! I had lipo 360 at the Baltimore MD location because I live here, and was seen post op for what I thought was a seroma but as I have healed it is not a seroma but a very large missed spot. Initially the surgeon Dr. Scroggins did not want to admitted it was a missed spot but told me to come back at month 6, now mind you they start charging you for office visits after 3 months. With consultation with a NP we both agreed it was a very large missed spot. Now they want to charge me $2-3500 to fix it (as O.R . fees) this what I paid for the total procedure (3,325) and stated I need to travel to Tampa FL for this to happen. This makes it impossible for any accountability with a type of algorithm they have set forth if there’s any issue that arises. This whole process is terrible and a scam if there is a mistake done by the surgeon. My abdomen is left deformed. The switch out their surgeons to different locations to make it impossible For them to be accountable for Any mistakes.
Thank you for your question. For those individuals that do not have enough body fat for fat grafting to the buttock, sculptra may indeed be a viable alternative to fat. There is no downtime with sculptra, and in most cases it can be done in a office setting under local anesthesia. Please keep in mind that more than one session of injections may be necessary to provide the desired result. For minor dimpling and buttock creases and irregularities, 4 vials may correct the contouring issues and give the desired result. However for a more dramatic change in contour, 10 to 20 vials or more may be necessary to give a more noticeable result. MY suggestion to you would be to consult with someone who can give you an adequate assessment of your body fat and have one procedure or the other. You may want to start with sculptra injections for the convenience, and then decide to proceed with a full BBL. However, understand that you own fat is the "gold standard" for dramatic changes in buttock contour.
The answer to your question is yes. You can have thermismooth after fillers and surgery. Thermismooth will heat the tissues and have a tightening effect on the skin resulting in an improved appearance. In my practice, it is my preference to start with a series of thermismooth sessions prior to the eyelid surgery because the heated tissues with have improved blood flow , thus theoretically improve healing and minimize scarring. In this particular case, I would wait 3-4 months after the eyelid surgery for most of the swelling to subside before proceding with thermismooth.
I once was told by one of my plastic surgery professors that it was not wise to operate of both sides of the face at the same time. In other words, if you have a procedure done deep in the subcutaneous plane under the skin, then one should usually delay in proceeding with a second procedure on the skin surface. Therefore your assumption is correct. While you have swelling from the injections done deep to the skin, in my opinion, it is always prudent to delay having something done on the skin surface until the swelling subsides. Good Luck.
Hello. The answer to your question is no. Fillers do not cause individuals to look older or age faster. They in fact, give support to the structures of the face and help prevent sagging. Nontheless, we have all seen individuals that have that "done" look, where over time there face can appear different, and in many cases distorted because of the over use and misuse of fillers. Care should be taken to find an injector who will be honest with you and not over inject when not indicated. Fillers delay the effects of aging; emphasis on the word "delay". At some point you may become a candidate for more aggressive treatment modalities.
The masseter muscles are very powerful muscles used to grind and chew food. Typically 30-50units of botox (25units each side) is used to weaken the muscle, and possible more to shrink the muscle. The effects of botox can be cumulative, thus you may need to have a second set of injections to see the optimum result. Good luck
