My face is long and thin, and have sagging in the jowl area. I also have laxity (crepiness) in the skin on my arms. I wonder about the potential for collagen stimulation/production given these factors. I am looking for procedures/products to provide fullness and lift for my cheeks and jowls, but not interested in surgery. I have tried Ulterapy with not great results.
Answer: Skin Tightening -- VASER Lipo, J Plasma/Renuvion, Inmode FaceTite , Thermage/Ultherapy, Instalift/NOVA Threads with sagging you need more than sculptra -- surgery, thermage/ultherapy, threads, morpheus treatments regularly. sculptra can help volume but you may also need fat or fillers. start at home MTS rollers + anteageMD ampules as well (see link).
As we age the skin sags there is nothing you can do that but try preventative energy-based or thread-based treatments or get a neck/facelift earlier in the aging process. There are numerous options and some can be used in combination to get best outcomes but you need a consultation with an expert.

Answer: Sculptra and other options for facial skin tightening and filling Dear lisargee, Yes, Sculptra stimulates the production of structural proteins of the skin and underlying fibrous tissues. That grow also adds mild volume and contraction appearing a more filling injectable. Both of these attributes are helpful for collagen loss and laxity or crepiness. Those patients with thicker skin have greater collagen density to begin with and therefore respond better to Sculptra than thinner skin patients or thinner skin areas such as the upper inner arms and thighs. I like Sculptra collagen stimulation before using Laser or Radio-Frequency skin tightening. I find ultherapy useless as the heat required will injure the outer skin before contracting the dermis or the patient complains of pain and does not fulfill the treatment. Thermi or Body Tight are better options. You may need skin reduction to achieve the foundation required for these minimally and non-invasive procedures to work best. I hope this is helpful. All the best!

Answer: Sculptra and Thermage Thank you for your question! Sculptra is a great option to build collagen and help lift/tighten the skin for the lower face. I know you have tried Ultherapy already but the combination of Thermage and Sculptra together can help supercharge your results in terms of collagen. Sometimes additional treatments of sculptra after are required. Thermage is radiofrequency based heat that helps stimulate collagen growth. When paired with Sculptra the results are incredible. If you are looking to do just Sculptra alone, then 6-8 months visits of getting a 1/2 vial of Sculptra would be recommended then you can do 2 treatments per year after that. I hope this helps!
