If one were to get a Laser Genesis treatment, is it safe to have a micro-needling treatment 2 weeks later?

When I am trying to improve acne scars on patients I typically recommend a combination treatment that includes Microneedling and Genesis. Usually I say way 2 to 3 weeks between Genesis and Microneedling, but wait 4 weeks between Microneedling and Genesis. Thank you for your question. In our practice we actually combine the two treatments together on the same day. We start with microneedling first followed by the Laser Genesis. The Laser Genesis actually helps reduce redness after microneedling and both help to minimize pores and improve texture. Laser Genesis is a mild non-ablative laser so waiting two weeks to have the microneedling procedure is also very safe.
