I’ve always had pink cheeks but noticed some broken capillaries on the checks and around the nose. I just had my third treat and the this time I had some bruising, not horrible but noticeable. I told my kids I joined a gang and got my tats! LOL They laughed, apparently I’m not as funny as I thought!
Dr. Hull was extremely professional and addressed all of my dermatological concerns in a timely manner . She’s down to earth and has an excellent bedside manner. My biopsy was quick and completed immediately.
Today I made a decision to rid myself of this annoying underarm, bra fat. I made an appointment at Hull Dermatology and Aesthetics and Susie led me through the process with a consultation and what to expect before and after my treatment. For those of us that have a fear of needles, the process was about a level 2 on the pain scale. After the injections I had some burning and numbness with bruising. Susie had already prepared me for this so I was ready and used some ice for comfort. I’m so excited to see the results in 6 weeks . I will need another treatment to totally get rid of the fat! Updates to follow
Gosh--I Look Good! - Rogers, AR
With age, I was slowly losing my lip fullness and I had lines getting more noticeable around my lips. Since I had juvederm injected into my lips, I love the youthful fullness I have back in my lips again. I had a small bruise on my lip that lasted a couple of days, but it was so worth the end results!

My awesome injector at Hull Dermatology , Susie, used a cannula instead of a needle for my lip enhancement. A small numbing injection was placed at the corner of my mouth . A needless cannula was used to inject the product and it was almost painless. Compared to the numerous needle injections for lips , I highly recommend the cannula for decreased pain and bruising.
Thank you for sharing photos. I recommend following up with your injector for evaluation as soon as possible, so they can see, as well as feel the area of concern. It is very likely you will need to have some hyaluronidase injected into the area to dissolve the product. I always tell my patients that after they heal, they should not see the product, feel the product or have any tenderness. It is not atypical to still have a little firmness, bruising or tenderness at day 5, but your photos at day 5 are not typical.
Hello and thank you for your question. It is a best practice to wait a minimum of six months after you've had your baby, and one year if you've had a C-section. Also, we would wait until after you finish breastfeeding to begin any treatment. It sounds like you are on the right track and you may even need less treatments if you wait until the six month mark. Good luck and congratulations on your new baby!
Hello and thank you for your question. In most cases, it takes more than one series of treatments to achieve a "Wow" result. When you visit your provider for your updated photos, you may be pleasantly surprised with your before and after pictures.Nutrition and exercise will also contribute to your results. Wishing you best of luck on your CoolSculpting journey!
It would have been helpful to see your entire face in your photo. Volume loss occurs over the entire face and volume loss in mid face can make marionettes, as you have shown and described, worse because gravity exacerbates this area. I often treat cheeks AND lower face to lift and support skin as well as create "triangle of youth". If you consistently treat the lower face without addressing the midface, you may correct to lines you see, but your face shape will turn boxy which is not youthful or flattering. I recommend Voluma or Sculptra for the cheeks, and Juvederm to lower face. Hope this information is helpful!
While Botox effects typically last 3-4 months on the average person, some may be longer and others may be shorter. There are many things that can effect longevity of Botox or other neurotoxins. Dose, injector placement, metabolism, and duration of receiving Botox treatments are just a few considerations. Another factor to consider is the simple aging process. Over time we lose volume and structural support and the muscles are able to contract more. When we are younger, there is an even playing field or balance of muscle and skin. As we age and lose volume the muscles begin to "win" this tug of war over skin. It may be time to reevaluate your treatments and see if dermal fillers could be added for best results.
