I perform up to six consecutive hours of deep therapeutic massage. During my sessions I use planks and isometric push-up style holds a lot. I am very physical with my clients using rocking and stretching. I lift and push and pull very much about 30 hours a week. I plan on taking 5 weeks off of work but I am nervous about how strenuous I am on my pecs for the long term of my breast augmentation
Answer: No occupational limitations with submuscular implants I have used submuscular placement of implants for over 15 years and over 400 implants per year. Bodybuilders, weightlifters, aerobics instructors, athletes, and others alike have undergone breast implants in my practice with excellent success. First 5 weeks off is more than plenty of time to recover. Submuscular placement of a textured implant (like that of Sientra) and shaped (which will give a more natural look and a one breast feel) will give you the longest lasting, best warrantied result available. Of course you would need a consultation to determine what size and shape would be ideal for your body type and measurements. Women after an augmentation in my practice can go back to working or working out within 48 hours. With the kind of lifting exertion that you do it would be extended 1-2 weeks. Good luck with an excellent procedure!

Answer: I am a massage therapist and want submuscular breast implants. Hello! Thank you for your question! Your plan and desires certainly are reasonable. Without an examination, it is difficult to give recommendations on the type of implant as well as placement. Placement of the implant in the subfascial position may be an option for you and negate the issues with animation and discomfort. However, if you choose to place them submuscular, affording yourself adequate recuperation as well as following restrictions postoperatively are important. 5 weeks should be adequate time and consideration for implants that will fit your breast width well and possibly for the cohesive, shaped implants should be entertained. Best wishes for a wonderful result! Hope that this helps!

Answer: I am a massage therapist and I want sub-muscular Breast Implants. I advise patients who are physically active to place their implants in the sub-fascial position. this will avoid the animation deformity that can occur with sub-muscular implants.

Answer: I am a massage therapist and I want sub-muscular Breast Implants. Your plastic surgeon will always be your best resource when it comes to timing to return to specific activities. Having said that, I think your plan of 5 weeks off of strenuous massage therapy work, is a good one. In the long-term, you will be able to return to all types of and strenuous activity without any worry about “long-term” effects on your breast augmentation procedure. Best wishes; hopefully you will be very pleased with the procedure performed.
