Will anything eradicate blotchy red staining of the skin on my buttocks resulting from Cellulaze? (Photo)

It's been almost three years since I had Cellulaze and I still have unsightly mottled skin discoloration. It has not improved over time. So I shelled out a lot of hard earned cash and ended up trading dimples for ugly blotches on my butt cheeks. I'm very worried its permanent. Will you please look at my photos and tell me if you've seen this before? Is this Erythema Ab Liporaspiration? Any advice is much appreciated.

In my opinion, you have Prolonged  Erythema from the Cellulaze treatment. Fortunately, you have light skin and this is easily treatable. Return to your physician and request treatment with a vascular laser or intense pulsed light. A few sessions  should remove the majority of the redness. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The redness is likely from permanently increased blood supply to the treated areas. This can almost certainly be treated with in office external laser therapy and I think you would have significant improvement. Please see your original surgeon if possible or really any board certified dermatologist or cosmetic laser specialist and see if they agree. Good luck.Aloha, Dr C
