Second boob job - how can I achieve more volume but not look too large? (Photos)

Question

Hi, I had my silicone implants placed under the muscle 11 years ago. I'm getting them replaced in a few weeks time. I said I'd like if possible, just some more volume in the upper area but not for them to look ridiculously large. The surgeon surgeon for me to pick between 500cc and 550cc. Could you advise which size / would either option would likely look good on my frame still? Would I notice a difference with 500cc? Thanks Georgia

breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery.
Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.
While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.
If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.

Larger implants will provide more upper pole fullness. The aesthetic benefit depends on your goals. In general, as implants get larger, the breasts look less natural. As you haven't provided the size of your current implants, it is not possible to comment on the change in appearance with a 500cc prosthesis.

The problem you have is not a volume deficiency but your problem is positional. Your implants have descended inferiorly and laterally and most of the volume is going around the corner of your chest wall. You can keep the same implants, plicate the pockets inferiorly and laterally and expand the pockets upward to give you more upper pole fullness without larger implants.
