Hi there, i wanted some advice from professionals on my body. Ive been researching for months on surgeons to perform my body feminization and hip expansion surgery. Every surgeon is telling me different things. I’m 24, 5ft8, i weight 12st4 pounds. I want my fat removed from my stomach and flanks and my waist snatched and hips enlargened and feminised. My body is so masculine but i dont know what procedures i’d benefit from? I want a BBL, Tummy tuck and lipo 360. Please help?
Answer: Feminine body You have a wide upper body, no waist no hips and no projection or roundness on the buttocks. You developed a very protruding abdomen because your muscle is very loose. So the purpose of surgery is to achieve a smaller upper body, slimmer back, smaller waist (no tiny because your bone structure won’t allow that) and more curvaceous lower body: wider hips, rounder more projected buttocks. So you will be candidate for liposuction to entirely back, waist, Tummy Tuck to remove excess of skin and tighten muscle, and add volume to hips, thighs and buttocks. Possibly will need at least one more stage of lipo and fat grafting to add more curves. Help yourself creating a more muscular butt and thighs. Be encouraged!! Dr. Cárdenas

Answer: Body Curving, BBL and Breast Implants Hi, unknownlux ! Thank you for your question. The best options for feminizing your body is to give curves to your body. This can be done by removing the fat tissue from sides and stomach and give it to enlarge hips and buttocks. Also breast implants will be upmost importance for a feminine body.

Answer: Body feminization Provider selection is in the end probably the single most important valuable and finding the right surgeon to work with is no easy task. My recommendation is to avoid implants whenever possible with the exception of breast implants if you desire and want those. for hips and buttocks fat transfer is a much better option than implants for most patients. There’s a limited amount of subcutaneous fat and so it is critical that no fat is ever wasted and both Liposuction and fat grafting be done correctly. Doctors views and what looks good and how a BBL should be done seem to very drastically. Personally my goal is always to create a smooth even harmonious S-curve that goes from the shoulder to the knees. I try to avoid creating the cartoonish looking big round ball but with liposuction of the thighs I sometimes called the lollipop look”. For some individuals the best potential outcome comes from having more than one session a fat transfer. This is especially true if you’re trying to significantly augment an area like the hips. when that’s the case fat needs to be strategically harvested and saved for each stage of the procedure. liposuction should be done of the entire tour so literally treating every part of your body except the breast. This will give a substantial amount of fat to work with and will slim you down and bring in your waste as much as possible. Despite your stats you currently look slightly overweight with a bit bulging of your abdomen. Generally speaking staying lean is in your favor in regards to feminizing. Genetically men tend to have more visceral fat and so weight gain will develop a more masculine appearance with out expansion of the hips and buttocks and instead increasing the girth of the midsection. Weight loss will compromise fat transfer results slightly but overall the end result always looks better with people who are slim than being overweight in my opinion. If needed fat can also be harvested from the extremities and a second round of Liposuction of the Torso as possible and can usually contribute 25% of the amount of fat harvested during the first procedure. Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people including plastic surgeons believe. The approach and skill level varies dramatically among providers. Simply being board-certified with an overall good reputation is insufficient to guarantee someone has mastered liposuction and fat transfer procedures. To properly vet plastic surgeons and find the most talented and experienced provider requires avoiding virtual consultations and meeting surgeons in person. During consultations patients need to take an active approach and drive the conversation in their favor to pull information from the provider to get the information you need. Simply being shown sample before and after pictures which most likely represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider.Instead ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedures you’re interested in. For fat transfer make absolutely sure that after pictures were taken at least three months after the date of the procedure. Early fat grafting results can look very impressive but do not at all represent final results. Anyone showing early post up pictures of fat transfer results with pictures of patients still being in the procedure room or still having surgical markings should be dismissed and crossed off the list immediately. Asked the provider to show as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own. Ask him to show examples of excellent results, average results and less than results. An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets a before and after pictures and highly experienced providers will have 100s or even thousands to choose from. There is no excuse for not having an abundance of quality before and after pictures to review with the patient during a consultation for these commonly done procedures. For Liposuction and results confirm what areas were treated and what areas were not treated and look carefully at the transition zones between treated and untreated. Areas to look at carefully include the transition from the waist to the back or the abdomen to the under arm are. Look carefully for any contour irregularities on any area treated with Liposuction. Skin should look smooth, even without any contour irregularities not seen on the before picture. Finally I recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. Avoid committing to having surgery or making a deposit during the consultation. Always give yourself at least a few days to think about the decision and always finish all scheduled consultations before committing to having surgery. These procedures are permanent and irreversible. You get one shot at getting this right and if not done right the first time chances of restoring results are very low. Continue having in person consultations until you feel very confident you find the most talented and experienced provider who is ethical, serves as a patient advocate and meets your overall needs and requirements. Avoid the temptation of trying to find the most talented provider with the use of Internet searches. Likewise whenever possible avoid consultations done virtually. To make a quality decision that you need quality information and that is best obtained by meeting a provider in person. The amount of time a provider spends during the consultation is also quite telling of their motives and diligence to perfection. Occasionally it may be necessary to have a follow up consultation to review information, before and after pictures or reassess your impression of the provider. Find the right plastic surgeon and everything falls into place. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
