Tingling from Botox when lying down. Is this a normal side effect?

Botox works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected. The effect is temporary and varies from person to person. While it's not uncommon to experience some side effects after a Botox treatment, these typically resolve within a few days to a couple of weeks.The tingling sensation and numbness you're experiencing, especially if they persist for months, are not typical side effects of Botox. It's possible that these sensations could be unrelated to the Botox treatment, or they could be a sign of a rare adverse reaction.
I strongly recommend you to make an appointment so we can evaluate your symptoms more closely. It's always important to monitor any changes or discomfort following treatment and to discuss them with your healthcare provider.
In the meantime, please avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, as this can cause the Botox to spread to other areas of your body.

Typically, when first getting Botox injections, patients may experience different symptoms. Tingling may occur. It is uncommon for symptoms to begin two or more weeks after your Botox treatment. I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation. She/He can advise you on how to proceed.
