Do I need subcision for this indented scar from a past lower jaw surgery? (Photos)

I had a lower jaw procedure over 1.5 years ago but I've had this indented scar from where the incision was (inside the mouth) since day 1 but it softened and dropped as the swelling dropped - however, it's still there and when I move my jaw the dent rises with it if that makes sense. I heard about subcision from a friend of mine but I'm not sure if its suitable for me because 1) it's sort of like a dent - or scar tissue that's attached to my jawline or the area around it and 2) its not an acne scar. It's definintly atrophic scar. Please advise
