Concerns about Subcision + Radiesse + CO2 Fractional Laser – Risks and Timing?
Hi, I have boxcar atrophic scars on my cheeks, and I was recommended a combined treatment: subcision with Radiesse filler + CO2 fractional laser in the same session, 3–6 sessions may be needed. I have some concerns: 1. Subcision – I’m worried about facial sagging, formation of keloid scars, or making the depression worse. 2. CO2 laser – I’m concerned about hyperpigmentation or leaving a mesh-like pattern on my skin. I also completed Accutane (Isotretinoin) 7 months ago, and I’m wondering if this increases my risk of complications with these procedures. Questions: • Are these risks realistic, and what are the chances they might occur? • Is it safer to separate the subcision and CO2 sessions to reduce risks? • Would it be better to skip these aggressive treatments and try lighter, lower-risk options, even if they are less effective? • Are there any other risks I should be aware of? I’m very nervous about these procedures, but I also don’t want to remain with my scars. Thank you for professional advice.
