Dear nadiaxoxo, every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. If you’ve chosen a plastic surgeon than your medical history it should’ve been discussed during the consultation. If it wasn’t Discussed you should contact your provider and review your medication with him or her before your surgery. If you’ve not chosen a provider I suggest having multiple in person consultations for the local experienced board-certified plastic surgeons who have extensive experience with liposuction. During the consultation they should review your medication‘s and give you preop instructions.Personally I see no reason to stop minoxidil.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
