I have had a double gluteal fold on both cheeks since puberty and they have never fluxuated with weight gain or loss. I am 21, 5’6 and 170 lbs. I’m super insecure about my butt because of the double fold and it even shows when wearing pants - What procedure/ treatment would be most effective for getting rid of the double fold??
Answer: Double buttock fold RAFL doesn't work for this, it can make it improved but honestly buttock roll lifting is needed. we have been doing this for 10 years and those who say to do just internal heating or liposuction with heating havent done enough. I suggest you see an expert and see my IG. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Butt crease Dear Exuberant909427, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from skin tightening procedures. If you are considering a treatment, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Understanding the gluteal crease In an upright standing position some people create a fold at the intersection between the buttocks and the back of the thigh. And a standing position to skin from both sections are being pushed together and a fold creates. It’s similar to how most people get a folder on their lower abdomen in a sitting position. The movement of the hip is forward flexion to over 90°. In full flexion the skin on the back of the thigh is tight and in an upright standing position it’s being pushed into the buttocks. It has nothing to do with fat so liposuction isn’t going to solve the problem. Not standing upright obviously it’s not an option. There simply is no good treatment for this and I suggest not having surgery for it. Whatever procedure someone recommends is most likely not going to work and I’ve seen lots of people being disfigured from Liposuction and this area. Cutting out skin leaves a bad scar and there isn’t really a skin access problem anyway. It’s just that you form to folds in that area in an upright standing position. With your hips flexed bent over the area probably doesn’t have the double fold. I suggest excepting this for what it is and not having surgical intervention. Non-surgical treatments are going to be a complete waste of money. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
