Can dermal filler be removed during surgery or should I plan on doing this beforehand? (photo)

I know it is possible to remove the filler whilst in survery however my filler is above my bridge, just below my eyebrows above my nose. Is it still possible to remove this during rhinoplasty or should this be dissolved before? I am planning to travel to Istanbul and want to understand if it’s possible to have the filler dissolved the days before the surgery whilst in Turkey, or whether this will be fine to remove during surgery.

In general, it is often recommended to have any fillers in the nose area dissolved prior to undergoing a rhinoplasty surgery. This is because the surgical procedure involves reshaping the nasal structure, and the presence of filler can interfere with the surgical process and potentially affect the final outcome.

Having the filler dissolved before surgery allows the surgeon to work with the natural anatomy of your nose and achieve the desired results more effectively. Your surgeon may suggest scheduling a separate appointment for filler dissolution or may advise you on the appropriate timing for dissolving the filler before your scheduled rhinoplasty surgery.

I have never found the need to have filler removed prior to any operation. It can be dealt with at the time of surgery. Of course confirm this with your surgeon

We have encountered many people who have undergone non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures with HA fillers, and we have found it is best to have them dissolved before rhinoplasty surgery. Hyaluronidase is excellent for swiftly eliminating unwanted ha filler from the nose. When the dissolving enzyme is used properly in the nose, results can be seen in as little as 24 to 48 hours. And in our experience, it is best to get somebody back to their native nose before operating, since the filler cannot be removed during the rhinoplasty surgery. The filler remains in the soft tissue.

Hello! Thank you for your question.As far I can understand your photo and the question, all derma fillers can be dissolve during the surgery. You do not need to dissolve them before operation.
