For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
If you believe that the Globe or "eye ball" is prominent, I suggest that you find a board certified Oculoplastic surgeon and obtain a full surgical consultation. I suspect that the best result will come with surgery. I would avoid any non-invasive options and start researching qualified surgeons in your area.
Another surgical correction for prominent eyes is an orbital decompression. This surgery is performed by fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeons (they specialize in plastic surgery around and behind the eyes, including orbital lesions, etc.). Fat and sometimes bone are removed from around and behind the eyes to help them move back so they are less prominent. There are risks, as with any surgery, of vision loss, and so again, only trust an oculoplastic surgeon for this type of surgery as they receive an extra two years of training dedicated to just the eyes and fat and bone around and behind the eyes.
I completely understand your concerns where you have received your father’s genetics. This presentation can easily be corrected with the use of your own fat. We have been performing this procedure since 1995 with results that are extremely natural and permanent. The procedure involves removing a small amount of fat from another area on your body, processing that fat and injecting it around the eye area making the eyes look considerably deeper. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery. PS look at the photographs of all of our patients. Unfortunately thousands of our pictures were lost by Go Daddy and are unavailable on the website itself. We’re in the process of collecting the situation
