Platymaplasty or mini neck lift for double chin? (photo)

Question

I'm 41 and have always HATED my double chin. Some places have days full on neck lift others have days lipo and others have suggested a platymaplasty. I have no idea what would be best ? Any advice would be much appreciated:)

Great question and thank you for attaching photos.
All of these techniques are likely to lead to some level of improvement of the fullness of your neck but each has its caveats. The liposuction is great for fat, but only fat so the excess skin may still give the appearance of a full neck. A platysmaplasty may tighten things a bit but I think you will likely still have some excess skin in the area. A neck lift can also remove alot of the fat and tighten the tissues underneath the skin, however this does not solve the excess skin problem. 
The procedure where you will get the most benefit is a lower face with neck lift. The benefit with this is that you then have somewhere to suspend the tissues (lift) and excise any excess skin. The downside is it is a larger surgery compared to the other options, though I think this is the best option if you want the best results.

Getting a lower face and neck lift would give dramatic remarkable results and is easy to undergo under local with a little iv sedation.  It would give that beautiful jawline and get rid of the double chin/neck fat and skin.
