I am a 36 year old woman who is looking to ask what options I have in regards to jaw re-allignment or reduction surgery . I have spoken to 2 doctors and received quite conflicting advice with one suggesting simply taking my lower jaw 2 mm in to reduce protrusion and the other telling because of my age this is not possible . The second doctor was in the UK's NHS - so I am quite confused and would appreciate any advice.
