Is my nose still swollen? (Photo)

Question

I had a septorhinoplasty in the UK in July 2022 and my nasal bridge looks bigger than before. It looks fine sometimes and then swells up. I would have expected all swelling to have gone by now. I’ll book a post-op with the surgeon soon but can anyone advise? I spent a lot and did it in the UK with hopes of no complications. I’ve attached one before pic, two post surgery pics where one looks fine and another with a lot of swelling on a random day. These are recent pics

We have seen persistent nasal swelling for up to 2 years following rhinoplasty surgery. In fact, we have met patients that have had similar concerns as yours, intermittent swelling. If there are days when you have a really nice nasal appearance, and days that you look a little swollen, don't worry. You may just need another 6 months for all of your swelling to disappear. There are situations where residual swelling can persist beyond the expected timeframe. Some people are at higher risk of this, e.g. multiple rhinoplasty surgeries, naturally thick skin, prior trauma to the face. Continue with regular massage and night time taping. Keep your surgeon informed of your progress.
