Should medial thigh lift scars stretch so much and be so visible? Can they be fixed?

Should these scars be spread and visible after medial thigh lift or can the be fixed?I had an inner thigh lift im 2018, my surgeon didn't want to do a full thigh lift. The scars stretched and they are visible from my knicker line, also i don't have creases separating my pubic region. Is this normal for this surgery or can it be fixed? I have photos but they wont upload

Thank you for your question regarding whether medial thigh lift scars should stretch so much and be visible and if they can be fixed. Thank you for your history. It isn't easy to answer without pictures. Unfortunately, you cannot upload them. I assume you had a crescent medial thigh lift. During a crescent medial thigh lift, an incision is made high in the groin, and a crescent area of skin and fat is removed from the thigh. This lifts the inner thigh. Fortunately, many plastic surgeons do not realize the risks and do not anchor the flap appropriately to the underlying bone. The crescent thigh lift must be anchored to solid tissue instead of pulling on neighboring soft tissue. If the scar is not anchored, sca,r will drift down the inner thigh, leaving scar visibility and labial spread. Usually, these can be revised. More extreme cases cannot. You must seek a board-certified plastic surgeon. A revision crescent thigh plasty might be performed by lifting the scar and anchoring it to the pelvic skin. Good luck. Thank you so much for sharing your question. Definitely stretch marks depends in your skin elasticity in procedures like thigh lift can happened because the place where the incisions are, unfortunately I cannot tell you if can be fix because I’m not able to see the picture.
