I had lip fillers over 6 months ago , this will be the 2nd time round, first time no issues with final look, this time i have experienced redness and a lump which hasnt dissappeared, the lump is hard to touch

I advise you to return to your injector for an evaluation.  If the lump is filler it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.  An examination is needed to determine how to proceed.

Did you go back to your provider?
If so what did your provider say about your outcome?
Most likely the lump represents filler.
What’s the second treatment done by the same person who did the first treatment?
Consider having them reverse the filler in the lump and see if that gets better.
There’s a substantial difference in quality among providers.
Choose providers who have a sufficient skill and experience and stand by their work.
Ideally individuals with proper medical training.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, there is a well circumscribed apparent cystic mass involving your lower red lip involving the vermillion border. It may represent a cyst occurring at the site of a clogged oil gland and is prone to infection. Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and treatment.Best wishes...

You don't say which filler you had. If it was a hyalouronic acid the first thing to try is to have your doctor inject it with hyalauroidase (Hylenex) because it is probably just too much product injected too close to the surface of your lip. If that doesn't work, the a dillute solution of triamcinolone my flatten it out. As a distant third choice, surgical excision is an option. It is always important to go to a board certified injector doctor because they are the ones who are trained in all the options of correcting such a deformity.
