When we use filler under the eyes it has to be below the muscle or it can really look like it shouldn’t be there. Getting it dissolved was likely the right choice. But this doesn’t mean it cannot be done correctly in the future.
There are other options to tighten that skin and nourish it! Using retinol and eye serums is really useful for your day to day maintenance. But also the Sue of PRP/meso therapy help with maintaining youthfulness. Then you can look at microneedling, or even better Morpheus8 (microneedling with radiofrequency). There are also laser options like CO2!

Considering the type of filler and its placement, you did not have as significant a problem as you could have. You are now basically back to where you were before your filler, though you do still have some filler left in a few places. You do, indeed, have volume loss under the orbital rim in the malar area. It will take a year or so for the remaining filler to dissipate. In the mean time, what you need is a heavy filler like Juvederm Voluma placed deep below the orbital ligament instead of superficially above the ligament done by a true expert in treating this area.
