Hi; I had Botox for crows feet first time in September, after 6 weeks it was wearing off on one side. My dentist who is lovely topped me up. I booked on for my second treatment beginning of Jan… It’s been just over 6 weeks and again it’s wearing off. I had hoped Botox would last 3-4 months I asked how many units she did in Jan, approx 15.. 7 one side, 8 on the other that faded faster before Should I be going back again after 6 weeks? I understand it will fade but surely not this fast?
Answer: Neuromodulators: know your options Hello, thank you for your question. Botox should last approximately three months or longer, and it may wear off quicker in muscles used more commonly. It is possible that you need a higher dose of Botox to achieve lasting results. Dysport is another neuromodulator known to last longer than Botox, which might benefit you. It is important to have an in-person consultation with an experienced, qualified injector for a personalized plan.

Answer: How soon does Botox last Thank you for sharing your question. Both typically lasts 4 months. If it only lasts 6 weeks, it could be a different brand being used, not enough product injected or it’s just the nature of your body. See an oculofacial surgeon for proper guidance. Good luck,

Answer: Botox Botox should not be wearing off after 6 weeks. The treatment results do fade gradually, but not generally until 3 or 4 months. The number of units used is less than is typical. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon for treatment.
