Is filler safe after lower blepharoplasty? I understand it is a bit of a blind treatment so I was wondering if it is safe after surgery when vascular anatomy might have changed
Answer: How fillers my optimize blepharoplasty results Hello, thank you for your question. You can have dermal fillers under the eyes after blepharoplasty. Like other treatments, it is always best to have an in-person consultation with an experienced, qualified injector that can review your previous treatments and assess your overall needs and health for a safe and effective treatment plan.

Answer: Are fillers safe in areas with previous Lower Blepharoplasty? Hello @Cute165324, thank you for your question. An aesthetic procedure, either surgery or fillers in the area where a blepharoplasty was performed is safe as long as it is performed in an appropriate place and with a specialist who has the knowledge to perform the procedure. Fillers can be applied after blepharoplasty because blepharoplasty improves the bags that form in the lower part of the eye, but often the relationship between the rim of the eye and cheek by the descent of the cheek muscles needs to be filled with fillers to improve it. The best course of action is to consult one or several board certified plastic surgeons for more information and options tailored specifically to your needs. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez, MD FACS.

Answer: Safety after surgery Hello, Anytime we apply filler to an area that has had surgery there it can be slightly more challenging because of scarring. It would be safe when performed by experienced provider, who specifically is skilled in under eye (aka infraorbital hollow) enhancement, which may not include filler (i.e. laser or PRP treatment). Best,
