Answer: Breasts implants size Dear granny, A front picture would have very helpful. If indeed you are 34 B cup size, based on direct measurement of your chest and breasts circumference, than 450 cc implants will bring you to a 34 DD cup size. However, in my 28 years of practice , I have noticed that women tend to over estimate their breasts size due to the fact that 'Victoria secrets' makes the bra size smaller , in order to make women feel better about their breasts size. So, your surgeon has to take the measurements himself. The 5 cm and 14 cm numbers that you mentioned are confusing to me too. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive. Pay special attention to the cleavage area, the perkiness, the symmetry and the natural look. Best of luck, Dr Widder

Answer: I'm 34b getting 470cc in 2wks. Any suggestions? My suggestion is to return to your plastic surgeon and have him/her size you again with "sizers." Take a T-shirt and wear it over the bra and sizers so you can determine if you like the size or not. This will give you more self-confidence and reassurance about the appropriate size. The proper size, within reason, is what size meets your goals and expectations. It's impossible to give you even an educated guess without seeing photos and knowing your present weight, height, and bra size as well as your goals.Good luck.

Answer: Suggestions Thank you for your question. This is difficult to answer your question without a exam and knowing your true dimensions. I am unsure of the 5 and 14 cm numbers you give. I highly doubt you have a 5 cm breast with. I would recommend you discuss your concerns with your PS. Best of luck

Answer: I'm 34b getting 470cc in 2wks. Any suggestions? Thank you for the question. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Given that your surgery is coming up soon, I would suggest that you spend additional time communicating your goals, concerns, questions directly with your plastic surgeon, preferably prior to the date of surgery. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "DD cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, one in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers. I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: BA Hello dear, I have to tell you that implant volume is not related to the cup size. You have to make sure of the size you want after getting a BA, because it is very important how you'll look after that. Review images, do the baggy test at home and get to know better of this step.
