Is it common for the areola to become lighter in color after Breast Augmentation?

Dear AshleyIt is common for he areola to stretch to a larger diameter after breast augmentation. This can make them look lighter in color. If you have fully lost pigment without skin slough, that is rather unusual. At 8 weeks you are still in the edema and recovery phase and you will continue to see changes for many more weeks.

Hi... thank you for the question... Sometime because of the distension and swollen areola changes.. But i suggest you to repost this with a photo to give you an specific opinion.

I have not seen this happen, but it is possible . Areola can vary in size depending on stretch and swelling. when areola is stretched the natural wrinkles get flattened and it looks lighter.
