Is it common for the areola to become lighter in color after Breast Augmentation?

My areolas have become several shades lighter after having my BA. I Am wondering if the pigmentation will return over time? I am 8 weeks post op.

Thank you for your question and photos.  No, unfortunately inward massage will not change the position of the implants.  Your implant needs to be centered under the breast and the nipple, which it is.  The borders of the breast and muscle will not allow the implant to shift...
