Can cellulitis on earlobe lead to capsular contracture?

I had a breast augmentation in Nov 2014. I'm on vacation and noticed my ear lobe was swollen and I was diagnosed with cellulitis and given Bactrim. I'm wondering if I need to worry about capsular contracture.

Sorry to hear about the difficulties that you are having.  This can be quite frustrating.  This does happen with these types of surgeries as there are usually multiple layers of sutures that can eventually spit.  Please continue to speak with your board certified plastic surgeon...

5 weeks post op breast augmentation/mastopexy safe for music festival ?

Thank you for your questions. I think it is safe to go to the music festival. I would avoid lifting heavy coolers and smoking marijuana. I recommend all women with implants to wear some type of support. Being around smoke should not be a problem at this stage. Best of luck and have fun.

Is it common for the areola to become lighter in color after Breast Augmentation?

Thank you for your question. The areola will stretch after a breast augmentation which can cause it to appear lighter in color. Skin loss can cause pigment changes. I suspect the stretching is what is making your areolas appear lighter. Best of luck

Thank you for your question and photos.  No, unfortunately inward massage will not change the position of the implants.  Your implant needs to be centered under the breast and the nipple, which it is.  The borders of the breast and muscle will not allow the implant to shift...
