Messed up eyes from eyelid tape? Help!

I had natural tapered eyes, but decided to use one - sided eyelid tape on my eyes. For 3 nights and 2 days straight[24/7]i wore the eyelid tapes, but on day 3 i wanted to go back to my natural lid. so i peeled the tapes off and my eyes are MESSED UP.i now have complete monolid with a VERY light crease.the natural eyelid I want so bad is gone, and i look very different. Its been a day since I took them off, but i need to do something fast seeing as how school starts in no more than 3 DAYS time.

Eyelid skin and its attachments to the deep eyelid tissues (tarsal plate, levator aponeurosis) are very fragile, so it is possible to create long-term changes in your eyelid if you pull off tape aggressively.  That said,,most changes from eyelid tape recover on their own and you should look ok in time for school.

Dear stephanieaciz,

Thank you for your clinical post and
unusual presentation.  It is unlikely
from the short-term taping that you performed on your upper lid that any
long-term deformity would occur as this would require significant detachment of
underlying tissues, which is improbable.

Vigorous massage up and down and side
to side should relax the tissues that were taped in position and return to your
normal eyelid anatomy and folds should occur. 
Should this not occur after several weeks a visit with a plastic surgeon
who performs a lot of cosmetic eyelid surgery might be warranted, however, I
think this probability is unlikely.

You could also seek physicians that
have radio frequency energy such as Forma, Fractora, Venus Freeze as these
devices with a gentle warm massage will improve blood flow, collagen formation
and likely return to your normal anatomic shape.
