I would not look to liposuction is a substitute for weight loss. Liposuction is a body contouring procedure that will result in some weight loss but is not a substitute for proper diet and exercise.

It is an operation which can help you to achieve a better body shape once you have achieved your ideal body weight. There are different kinds of liposuction techniques, but each one has a different risk/benefit profile. I prefer to use power-assisted liposuction, which is based on using a low grade mechanical force with liposuction to break the fat down and remove it more effectively.
