It is normal to shed transplanted hairs weeks after surgery. The new hairs may take 6 to 12 months to grow.

Shedding of the transplanted hair is perfectly normal after a hair transplant procedure and will occur anywhere from weeks 2 to 6 post op. Continue to follow your doctors post op care instructions and happy growing!
Thank you for posting your question. Starting around 8 to 10 days post procedure, it is normal to start seeing the transplanted hairs to fall/shedd. It will take around 3 1/2 to 4 months to start seeing the newly grafted hairs to grow. Hope this helps.
What you are experiencing is not uncommon. The transplanted hair will shed out after the first couple weeks following your procedure. It is not permanent and the hair will resume normal growth. If the non transplanted hair is shedding, that may be due to shock loss because of the procedure. This is also not permanent and will resume normal growth. If you have any other concerns or questions, refer back to your hair transplant surgeon.
