One could try correction with a filler. If that provides promising result a correction with fat graft, as a permanent solution, may be considered. Good luck.

Patients that have a deep mental crease tend to have a short lower face and chin. The distance between the lowest point on the chin and the tip of the lower incisor tooth should measure 40-42 mm for women and 42-44 mm for men. I suspect that you have a short chin that can be corrected with a lengthening genioplasty. The surgery is performed in the office and takes about 45 minutes. The surgery does not require braces or change your bite. It will increase your lower facial height and diminish your mentolabial fold.
