3 years ago I had Restylane injected for lips. Unfortunately I developed lumps in the underside mucosal area. Suggestion?(photo)

If you are unhappy with fillers you can have them reversed . sometimes mucoceles can develop and need to be removed surgically.  I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist with experience.  Best, Dr. Emer.

The lumps may have to be surgically cut out, under local anesthesia.  I have performed many such procedures for people with silicone lip injection, and others alike.

Thank you for sharing your photos.  I am sorry to hear of your experience.  From the photos, it appears you may have filler that was superficially placed three years ago.  Contrary to popular belief, hyaluronic acid fillers (#Restylane, #Juvederm, #Vobella, #Volift, #Voluma) last years in certain areas.  I recently corrected an area that had been incorrectly injected 9 years ago with Juvederm.  Even three years later, #hyaluronidase (#Wydase, #Hylenex, #Vitrase) can be used to dissolve the filler in your mucosal lip.  Please find a dermatologist or plastic surgeon experienced in fillers to help correct the issue. Best of luck,Suneel Chilukuri, M.D.Houston, TX
