Tigr mesh for primary augmentation/mastopexy - does this lessen the likelihood of future revisions?

I never recommend the anchor lift. I recommend The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

I do a lot of internal bra procedures, usually with Galaflex mesh but Tigr is a good option. It is a judgment call whether to use it on a primary augmentation-mastopexy. With your history of weight loss, it is likely that some elasticity of your skin and the tissue envelope that support the breast is lost. Mesh replaces that so if your surgeon recommends it you should consider it.

Ideally mesh should not be needed, but some plastic surgeons end up with implants that bottom out more frequently than other providers and
Mesh is one technique used to correct implants that bottom out and can potentially also prevent the complication.
Whether it does, this depends on the provider.
Using large implants will also increase the chance of having undesirable side effects, complications and need for revision surgery.
Each patient has a unique candidacy for each procedure.
There is some difference from patient to patient.
I suggest you ask your provider what their incidence of implants the bottom amount is, with their experience has been not using mesh and if they’ve had problems using mesh.
Of all the variables provider selection is probably the most importance.
I generally always recommend patients consult with several providers before scheduling surgery or choosing their surgeon.
I think most plastic surgeons do not use mesh for the primary procedure.
Maybe some should?
If the procedure is done well from a technical perspective, it shouldn’t be needed.
It’s not always easy to get this exactly right every time.
Some plastic surgeons do this better than others.
