Botox has been used for years for this purpose. I have personally been doing so for well over two decades. It is not a common location for Botox treatment, like the glabella or crow's feet regions, and so you would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist with extensive experience in using Botox for treating all areas besides the common frown lines, worry lines and crow's feet areas. Hi there! Great question. Botox can help to reduce flare though it isn't always successful. The muscles involved in flaring the nostrils can be tough to pinpoint. If the result is achieved, sometimes people with complain of nasal obstruction / blockage because the muscles are no longer "active" and able to dilate open the nasal passageways.
