Would Botox help minimize the appearance of lines in the chin area? (photos)

I have always been aware of these lines on my chin but I’m not sure what they’re called or what procedures would help with this. Would Botox help or does it involve more of my chin/jawline?

Thank you for your question and photos. Repetitive muscle movements, such as smiling, may cause lines that can deepen over time. Botox injections can target the muscles causing them by limiting muscle movement to smooth away the resulting lines. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced expert injector. Thank you for your question. Botox helps inhibit the movement but not lines at rest. While botox would help to not be able to move that muscle as much, it would not help with the lines. It would help with the chin dimples however when smiling and scrunching the chin.
