Will this correct itself in time? Can i hasten it along somehow? Could this be caused by my possibly being allergic to the Botox I had between eyebrows during surgery? I have hyperthyroidism. Can that slow healing / or cause problems with healing. Skin on under eye from laser is better, but still red. What shall I put on it?

Answer: 10 week post op upper and lower blepharoplasty. As you can see, one eye is bigger than the other still. Is this normal?
We never do these surgeries with general anesthesia in my practice. Local with some sedation is all that is needed for a comfortable surgery. If it is just lids they can even be done with straight local anesthesia.
Well done blepharoplasty should never look like you had surgery. It should provide a rested and refreshed look and look similar to photos of you a few years ago. Never use Hollwood personalities as an example. They live in a world of unreality. Some of the absolute worst cosmetic surgery we see...
If you had Asian blepharoplasty, at two weeks you are healing still and not seeing your final results. Give yourself time to heal and then discuss these issues again with your surgeon if there is still no resolution.
