Left nipple placed too far laterally, can this be corrected? (Photos)

Question

I had a bilateral breast implant exchange with vertical lift. Prior to my surgery I had large 23 yo implants, both my nipples were centered and pointing forward. After my recent surgery my nipple on my left breast is noticeably placed laterally, not centered over the most projecting portion of breast mound. I have included my before picture followed by pictures after my procedure.

Exchanging an old pair of implants and doing a mastopexy is a very difficult operation because there are many variable. The nipple position is not moved medial or lateral in a mastopexy, just upward. If you look closely at your before pictures you can see a hint of lateral displacement. You are correct that the nipple isn't centered over the implant mound but the implant mound is more medial than the opposite side, thus making the nipple appear more lateral. I would discuss this with your plastic surgeon as far as the options to correct this since only they know what is going on within that implant pocket.
