Thank you for your question. It is always helpful to post photos here to provide a recommendation based on your before (or after) photos. Lip augmentation in the form of non-surgical fillers and surgical lip lifting can be an excellent compliment to many plastic surgical procedures. In this way, your surgeon can leverage different options to provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,
Yes, this is possible with lip augmentation. Technique will be important here, so you will want someone meticulous. I recommend using cannulas with injections. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Implants or fat are alternative options. See an expert. Cosmetic fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, including Juvederm or Restylane, can be successfully ininjected in the upper cutaneous lip to accentuate or increase the philtrum column. In some patients, upper lip can be further lengthened with such fillers, but the ultimate decision as to whether such look is truly desirable will be determined during your consultation.
I agree with the previous post in that lengthening the philtrum columns can be aging, but there are certain instances that this is desired. Without seeing a picture it is hard to make the recommendation. I will say that at times a small amount of neurotoxin (Botox) at the base of the columella can help you achieve this effect if elongation of the cutaneous upper lip is truly what needs to be accomplished. This will also lift the tip of a "witch nose." Ideally an injection in this area would be combined with lip fillers to maintain a balance of the lower face. Thank you for your question and good luck!
The best way to do this is with filler to expand the lips. Lengthening the philtrum is an aging phenomenon and is not desireable. I would try this first.
Thank you for your question. There are different regulations in Sweden and USA. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a very reputable facial plastic surgeon in Sweden, or, consider a trip to USA for a surgery after doing a Skype consultation. It is important you discuss surgeon ...
Thank you for your question. Dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane Silk are the most popular choices for symmetrical and full lips. Also, these are hyaluronic acid fillers that can easily be dissolved with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with the results. Lip lift is...
This is overfill. It needs to be adjusted back to earth. I pray this was a hyaluronic acid filler. If so, it can easily be adjusted with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down these fillers. Other fillers cannot so easily be adjusted and for that reason are never recommended for the lip.
