Uneven eyelids - Is it possible to surgically go from a double eyelid to a monolid?

Hi, I’m from a minority group in Afghanistan half Hazara and half Tajik so I have a unique mix. I naturally have a very defined double eyelid on one eye and a monolid on the other. I want to fix the double eyelid side to match the monolid so both eyes look even. Is it possible to surgically go from a double eyelid to a monolid? I’ve mostly seen questions about creating double eyelids from monolids, but I prefer my monolid look and want to know if this can be done. Thanks!

Thank you for your photo. The small residual fat pocket that you have can easily be revised under local anesthesia using the original incision from your upper blepharoplasty. Only a small amount of residual fat would need to be trimmed and your old incision would be as well camouflage as it is...

Part of the asymmetry is secondary to the asymmetric upper lid creases. Surgery on the left upper lid to create an eyelid crease and fix any ptosis would help improve your symmetry. This is a particularly challenging surgery. Best to see an eyelid expert.

You would be a candidate for fat grafting and/or lower lid blepharoplasty. Prior to any lower lid surgery you would need all the filler dissolved in your tear trough and anterior/medial cheek in order to determine the best course of action.

It is possible to lower the upper eyelid crease. This can also be done on the side with the ptosis surgery but most eyelid surgeons do not understand the mechanics of this. A physicial examination is needed to determine what resources you have for this type of work. Also such an examination may...
