SEGs are often used to support the nosetip and resist possible scar tissue changes or other factors. PDS or other slowly, strong absorbable materials could support the nosetip until the nose is healed and the scar tissue has setled. After bioresorbtion, the resulting structure should be more pliable than the cartilage graft, yet offer enough support, especially if the tip cartilages are intact. Would a strategy like this be possible to remove grafts and get a soft and flexible tip?
