Would getting a septum piercing negatively affect my ability to have a Revision Rhinoplasty in the future?

If the piercing is going to be quite large and your previous rhinoplasty utilized much of your septal cartilage, it could present a problem. The caudal septum where the piercing would go is critical for tip support. Often times in revision cases, grafting material is added and stabilized to the existing septum. If you're thinking about a revision seriously, I would hold off on any piercing until you've had a discussion with a prospective surgeon. Hope this is useful!
