Why is there a bump between my eyes and why does it feel like part of the bridge collapsed? (Photo)

Question

I have a new bump after septorhinoplasty. I had my dorsal hump reduced and in doing so, my surgeon raised the bridge of my nose between the eyes. The more time passes, the more uneven and poorly done it feels. On my right side it feels like a piece of the bridge is missing completely. I am able to push it down and it makes a popping noise. My surgeon said I could get filler for the rest of my life. I think that is unacceptable. Will I need a second procedure? Is there anything in office?

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photo you have a small hump and it can be due to your previous surgery. It would be better with face to face consultation. However, I definitely not recommend filler for nose, it can cause many defects.Best Regards!

Hello Elizabeth and sorry for your disappointing results. It seems that you had some unexpected repositioning of the elements of your bridge, after the hump was removed and the resultant "open roof" was closed with in-fracturing! Yes, there are some surgeons and patients who would opt for a non-surgical approach with filler. Personally, I like to fix these defects with cartilage grafts.
